Science comes alive at GMHBA Stadium

Science is awesome! Seriously it is. Bring the whole family along to Science Alive! at GMHBA Stadium on 25-26 May 2019 and find out why.

You will take a fascinating look at how our world depends on science, technology, engineering and math.

Try our hands-on exhibits and watch spectacular science shows. Kids will love making their own slime, engaging with native animals, challenging themselves at the Questacon exhibits, experiencing a virtual reality tour of the universe and learning how to fly a drone with the Army Drone Racing Team or Scienceworks.

Wonder at the night sky in huge inflatable planetariums, program a robot to walk and talk, make an infra-red selfie and browse the latest scientific games and toys. Did we mention that the Daleks are coming?

Your kids will enjoy the Scientific Bubble Show by Marty McBubble, the WildlifeXposure Animal Show,  the Illusions Show from Curiosity Show legends Rob Morrison and Deane Hutton and the Explosive Science Show.

Deakin University will guide teenagers through science and engineering study options and large employers such as the Naval Group (submarine builders) Viva Energy and Brighter (promoting clean energy from gas) will all have fabulous displays.

It’s not just for the kids, anyone young at heart or interested in science will love Science Alive!
