KARDINIA PARK TO HOST FREE OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT

The Kardinia Park Stadium Trust are thrilled to announce a free community movie night and ‘Jurassic World Experience’, which will take place on the ‘hallowed turf’ of GMHBA Stadium on Saturday 16 March.

Patrons will be treated to a screening of the one of the biggest films in motion picture history – 65 million years in the making, ‘Jurassic Park,’ in the first event of its kind to be held at the Stadium.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early and step into Jurassic World with giant animatronic Jurassic World dinosaurs and interactive displays. Children will even have the opportunity to design and paint their own 3D Jurassic World dinosaur to take home.

Kardinia Park Stadium Trust CEO, Michael Brown expressed his enthusiasm for ‘Movies at Kardinia Park’.

“A key objective for us has always been to open up Australia’s best regional Stadium to the community. This free movie night is the perfect way for us to showcase the Stadium as a true multi-purpose venue. I encourage the Geelong community to join us for this unique, unforgettable experience at GMHBA Stadium.”

Attendees are welcome to bring in a picnic to enjoy during the movie, alternatively, there will be food trucks and a bar open on the night.

The event follows a busy post-AFL season at the Stadium that has included a full turf renovation, the Festival of Sport, Super Cross, Big Bash League, and upcoming AFLW, NRL and A-League events.
