Crusty Demons make the Day of Geelong School Kids

With only a few days until the Crusty Demons flip into GMHBA Stadium, gold-medal-winning Freestyle rider, Rob Adelberg, and the youngest Demon on tour, Tom Richards, made the day of over 100 school students when they visited Wittington Primary School and Newcombe Secondary College.

The Crusty Demons superstars answered eager students’ questions, addressing everything from what age they started riding (both at just three years old!) to how many broken bones and injuries they had acquired over the years (too many too count!).

At only 16 years old,  Tom spoke particularly about the importance of continuing education and how he juggles going to school during the week and riding as a daredevil motorcyclist on the weekend.

Rob is the first athlete in history to earn 5 X-Games medals in one calendar year but remains humble and dedicated to the sport. By committing to always improving each trick, no matter how long it takes, he is now one of the only riders in the world who successfully completes front flips

Students and teachers alike were in awe as Rob and Tom explained in detail the tricks and flips they perform at the show, and were delighted by the opportunity to pose with a motorbike at the end of the session.

Rob and Tom, along with other Crusty Demons favourites will descend on GMHBA Stadium for their ‘Rise of the Demons’ tour this Saturday 12 October.
