GMHBA Stadium will throw its doors open to the community on Sunday 6 October as the FREE Festival of Sport returns to Kardinia Park.

A national SPL skate competition, an all-new Kids Triathlon and Medieval Jousting displays will headline over 60 ‘come and try’ experiences across one jam-packed day of movement and fun! Last year’s favourites Obstacool, Geelong Cats Stadium tours, stand-up paddle boarding and the Mik Maks will also be returning in 2019.

The Festival, which is a true celebration of physical activity, health and the diversity of sport in the region attracted 15,000 people across two days last October and promises to be another unforgettable day of FREE sport and family entertainment.

SPL National Skate Comp and ClinicsBe wowed by the skills of professional skaters as they compete in a national skate ramp comp and participate in ‘come and try’ skateboarding clinics in a safe and fun environment at the Festival of Sport. We'll have a portable ramp set up where we'll be doing skateboarding clinics and then a competition to finish off the day.Find out more
