Visitor Information


Public parking is available within the Kardinia Park Precinct on event days. There is also parking located in the surrounding streets, however, please note that restrictions do apply in particular areas.

Entry into the Kardinia Park Precinct is via a number of points:

  • Kilgour Street – Entrance A,
  • Latrobe Terrace – Entrance B,
  • Park Crescent – Entrance C and D and;
  • Moorabool Street – Entrance E which is utilised for Disabled Parking.

Further to this, there is also a ‘Drop Off Zone’ available in the A10 carpark within the Kardinia Park Precinct. This Drop Off Zone is located near the Premiership Stand. Please note that on Event Days this is an area that has high levels of foot traffic.

AFL Match Days

For the safety of patrons, there are temporary road closures on Moorabool Street for AFL match days.

Accessible parking is available:

  • Entrance E: via Moorabool Street (accessible parking only)
  • The drop off area is located at car park A2 via Kilgour Street.

Disabled Access

Disabled access into the stadium is available throughout the venue and any of our friendly and helpful staff would be more than happy to assist.

There is a lift located within the Premiership Stand providing access to Levels 1 and 3 with a disabled seating ticket.

There is also a lift located in Sports House which provides access to Levels A, B and C of the Reg Hickey Stand. This particular lift is not available to the general public and a lift pass must be obtained prior to the event to ensure access is not hindered. For further information in obtaining a lift access pass to the Reg Hickey Stand please don’t hesitate in contacting the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust Management team on 03 5224 9111, or alternatively you can come and visit us at the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust office on level 1 of the Brownlow Stand.

A public lift is located in the Players Stand providing access to Levels 1, 2 and 3.


There is plenty of disabled and carer/companion seating available throughout the venue in different locations. Disabled seating can be found in:

  • The Reg Hickey Stand – this seating is all undercover and located on Level A. There are 28 wheelchair spaces and 28 carer/companion seats available;
  • The Premiership Stand – there are 18 spaces and 18 carer/companion seats located on Level 1 and also;
  • The Players Stand – 57 spaces and 57 carer/companion seats located on Level 1

There are also disabled toilets located throughout the venue – if you require assistance to find them, please don’t hesitate in asking one of our friendly staff members.


Disabled car parking is available on a first-in basis on a event days*. The dedicated disabled parking area is located at the northern end of the ground behind the Gary Ablett Terrace. Entry to the area is via Entrance E which is located directly off Moorabool Street. Individuals parking within the disabled area must have a valid disability parking permit on display.

There is also a safe drop-off point located on Moorabool Street out the front of Sports House.

There are also a limited number of disabled car parks in the A2 and A3 car parking area which is located behind the Premiership Stand.
