As the Stage 5 redevelopment commences, please note the following changes in conditions around the construction site:
Access
As per the site plan below, there will be restricted access throughout the construction area commencing Monday 6 September. Pedestrian access will still be provided between the construction site and railway line as noted above, maintaining pedestrian access from east to west within the precinct.
Demolition
Demolition of the Gary Ablett Terrace and Ford Stand will occur over the coming months. The Construction Management Plan, as approved by the relevent authorities, will mitigate dust or noise throughout the duration of the project.
Changed traffic conditions
Relevant traffic controls will be implemented throughout the project at various times to facilitate construction access to the site as required.
