
Roger Field has been appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust, bringing valuable experience across major events and tourism.
He is the Managing Director of Further Afield, a business he established to help new enterprises within, and businesses adjacent to the Entertainment Industry navigate its unique construct. Further Afield works across a variety of sectors including but not limited to travel, hospitality, content procurement, as well as maintaining activity across the Entertainment Industry.
Previously, Roger served as CEO of Live Nation Australasia (2014–2020) and President for Live Nation Asia Pacific (2020–2024), where he led a team that successfully navigated the evolving demands of the touring, festival, and venue sectors, with a key focus on expansion of the company’s diverse regional venue portfolio. During his tenure, he oversaw record-breaking tours by globally renowned artists such as Harry Styles, P!nk, Adele, and Bruno Mars. Before this, Roger held various roles at the Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust and Ticketek.
In his capacity as the co-convenor of the Live Entertainment Industry Forum (LEIF), Roger also helped lead the industry’s engagement with State and Federal Governments during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Kardinia Park Stadium Trust administers, promotes, and manages GMHBA Stadium and attached land including the Barwon Regional Cricket Centre and the Geelong Sports Museum.
The Trust has an overarching objective of contributing to the economy, community and liveability of the Geelong region and the state.
