
Since 2020 Vic has been bringing his personal best and his experience working in the aged care setting to provide elite customer service here at GMHBA Stadium.
“The patrons expect the best customer service and I want to give them my best in the way of meeting their needs, whether that be knowing where the nearest food outlet is or needing assistance with something more serious.”
And Vic just gets it. He’s an immense sport fan himself.
“Most of us who follow sport are quite passionate when it comes to following our teams. There are times that our passion can be excessive and disrespectful to others around us.”
“To be abused or disrespected is not a pleasant experience and I don’t want someone going away from the stadium feeling that they have had an unpleasant experience.”
“I try to support both sides. As a neutral observer I can often see both sides of the situation and need to take a stance to just calm things down.”
Together with Customer Ambassadors like Vic, we can help shift the goals posts of what is considered acceptable and contributes to a safe and welcoming stadium for all.
“On game day I can’t do anything to help their team win, but I want to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time at Kardinia Park and wants to come back again. Showing support in all situations is one way that I can do that.”
