COVID-19 Update – 22/05/20

The Kardinia Park Stadium Trust is continuing to take the advice of the Government regarding the health and wellbeing of our staff and patrons – Our number one priority.

Recently, the AFL announced its intention to resume the 2020 AFL Toyota Premiership Season on June 11. In light of this and in accordance with State Government’s ‘Return to Play’ guidelines, GMHBA Stadium has been classified as an ‘Elite Sporting Facility” and has been implementing a number of measures to ensure we are ready to receive both AFL team training and then AFL matches. As a result, the Stadium will remain closed to the public until further notice. This includes game days, training sessions as well as the Charles and Co Café and the Cats Shop.

The team at Kardinia Park Stadium Trust, is working closely with Government Authorities and in collaboration with the AFL and Geelong Cats will provide updates on future arrangements at the stadium when appropriate.

The DHHS has a hotline for public information on COVID-19: 1800 675 398.
