We are thrilled to announce that Joe Calafiore, CEO of the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), will become the newest member of the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust.

Born and raised in Geelong, Mr Calafiore is strongly committed to the Geelong community and actively works towards improving the region’s future. He has a notable background in communications and community relations, and is a member of the Committee for Geelong’s strategy and policy committee.

Mr Calafiore has previously worked as a Senior Advisor for the Victorian Minister for Police, before becoming the Head of Community Relations for TAC and then CEO in 2015.

“I am delighted to join the team at the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust and look forward to making a contribution” Mr Calafiore said.

Trust Chairman, Michael Malouf welcomed the appointment. “I am pleased to welcome Mr Calafiore to the Trust. His dedication to Geelong and community expertise will make for a wonderful addition to the Trust,” he said.

The key focus of the Trust since its inception in 2016 is to ensure Geelong’s prime asset, GMHBA Stadium, located at Kardinia Park, continues to drive increased investment and benefits for the Geelong community.

Effective immediately Mr Calafiore will commence his position on the Trust alongside existing Trustees Michael Malouf (Chair), Gillian Costa, Rebecca Casson, Simon Guthrie, Elizabeth Mears and Dan Simmonds.
