Female Football Administrator of the Year Award Nominations Now Open
Nominations are now open for the Female Football Administrator of the Year Award.
The award, which was won by Rose Pirrottina last year, compliments the work of Football Victoria and Geelong Regional Football Committee in promoting and celebrating women in sport both on and off the field.
As well as a trophy, the recipient will be awarded a unique professional development opportunity in the next Football Victoria Female Administrator Mentor Program. The program is for club administrators and committee members – featuring intensive mentoring with Carol Fox.
Nomination Criteria
The nominee must have a minimum of two years’ service to the Geelong football community and to either be holding (or have held) a position on the Club Board or a Sub-Committee or have made a significant contribution in an operational or fundraising capacity at the nominated club.
Nomination Process
1. To nominate your Club Administrator simply provide a summary of your administrator addressing the selection criteria in an email to Foddy Kyprian (FV).
2. The Selection Committee will shortlist the nominees to five finalists.
3. Finalists will be formally invited to the Celebration of Female Football to held at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday May 5th 2019.
Nominations for the award are open until 17 April.
