  • To avoid delays when entering the stadium, please arrive early and download your ticket to your phone before arriving at the ground.
  • Following an event at GMHBA Stadium, all vehicles within the Kardinia Park Precinct will be held 10 minutes post-match to allow for safe exit from GMHBA Stadium. Ubers and Taxi’s for those with accessible needs will be able to access A2 for collection after this 10-minute static site has concluded.

Event Day Ticketing

Cats members can enjoy seamless entry with the DiDi Express Members Lane.

How does it work?

The DiDi Express Member’s Lane utilises facial authentication technology, proving members who choose to opt-in with faster entry.

  1. Link your Ticketmaster account using your Cats membership.
  2. Take a selfie, your face is now your ticket.
  3. Head to Gate 1, 6 or 13 to use the DiDi Express Members Lane entrance.
Parking and Getting to GMHBA Stadium

There will be no public parking within the Kardinia Park Precinct this season, however there will continue to be accessible parking in B6 (St Mary’s) with overflow in C7.

A taxi rank will be located on Verner St, at the conclusion of the event.

Main Drop Off
Main drop off is located in Verner Street, on the eastern side of GMHBA Stadium. This area is also the designated drop off and pick up area for Uber and Taxi’s.

Accessible Drop Off
Accessible drop off will be available for patrons with accessible needs via gate A, off Kilgour St. If arrival is outside of one hour pre-game, the traffic controller will direct vehicles to proceed via the internal roadway to the drop off area at A2.

If arrival is within one hour pre-game when the static site is in place, there will an option to drop off inside entrance A and a shuttle service will be available to transport patrons to A2.

Geelong is approximately one hour from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station, with South Geelong Station located 450 metres to the east.

Additional services may be provided by V/Line on Major Event days. Patrons are encouraged to visit the V/Line and/or Public Transport Victoria websites, for more information.

Accessibility and Inclusion

The Sensory Room is located in the Deakin Cats Community Centre on the Ground Level concourse at the back of the Players Stand – inside Gate 8 (Doug Wade Gate).

During the event a dedicated Inclusion Officer is available to help patrons navigate the stadium and provide assistance. Don’t hesitate to contact the Inclusion Officer directly throughout the event on 0439 305 980 for any people with additional needs.

GMHBA Stadium features two Changing Places facilities.

Changing Places is an accessible toilet for people with a disability requiring a hoist. It is accessed with an MLAK key. Patrons will have their own key, or one is available via the Inclusion Officer. Changing Places facilities are located in Aisle 36 of the Level A Brownlow Stand and Ground Level of the Joel Selwood Stand.

Recycle your cans and bottles in the Recycle4Change purple lidded bins and help reduce stadium waste on game day. Purple lidded bins can be found on the concourse and throughout Kardinia Park.

Purple bins – Cans and bottles (CDS Vic approved drinking containers)

Yellow bins – Coffee cups and cardboard

Red bins – Food scraps and general waste

The Cats Shop will be open for all your Geelong Cats merchandise

GMHBA Stadium now offers FREE WiFi within the stadium. No login or password required to join.
