Mr Gough led the Carlton Football Club from 1993 to 2000 before he was appointed chief executive of the Melbourne Cricket Club – a position he held for 17 years, overseeing major developments of the Northern and Great Southern stands at the MCG and developing the hugely successful Australian Sports Museum.
In 2015 he was appointed by the Victorian Government to a steering committee that developed a new operational model for Kardinia Park stadium, leading to the establishment of the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust in 2016.
In 2018 Mr Gough was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his services to sports administration and stadium management in Victoria.
Gillian’s extensive history of managing private business spans over 30 years. During this time, Gillian has shown a great resilience, determination as well as a genuine respect and appreciation for the opportunities provided through her involvement in the Geelong Community.
Gillian has been involved in many local committees. For the past four years she has been a member of the MACS (Multicultural Aged Care Services) board, a not for profit organisation empowering the elderly to live their lives to the fullest.
A Trustee since 2016, Gillian was appointed Deputy Chair of the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust in 2017.
Mr Hulls has an impressive history in state and federal politics. He has held the offices of Attorney-General, Minister for Manufacturing Industry, Minister for Racing, Minister for WorkCover, Minister for Planning, Minister for Industrial relations as well as Deputy Premier of Victoria.
Rob was appointed to the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust in 2019.
Libby has a strong background in the non-profit, government and human service sectors. She has held senior roles in state government and the TAC with responsibilities in stakeholder engagement, policy development and has been CEO of Leisure Networks since 2013, leading significant growth and business transformation in response to the opportunities provided by the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Libby holds a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences, majoring in health promotion and is deeply committed to making an impact on the way our communities grow, engage and support all members to participate in valued, meaningful ways.
Libby spent eight years as a local councillor, with two mayoral terms with the Surf Coast Shire and five years as Chair of the Victorian Coastal Council, advising state government on coastal policy.
Libby holds a number of Board roles including as Trustee of the Kardinia Park Trust appointed in June 2016 and Chair of the Kardinia Park Advisory Committee, Director, Surfing Victoria and most recently appointed to the Board of GForce in June 2019.
Dan is a long term resident of Geelong with significant standing within the Geelong Community. He is a prominent and experienced lawyer highly regarded across the region for his work with Community groups. These organisations include Committee for Geelong, Barwon Health, Kardinia Health, Deakin University and the Salvation Army.
In 2010 Dan was awarded the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) Presidents General Award in recognition of excellence and outstanding contribution within the legal profession.
Dan was appointed to the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust in 2017.
Born and raised in Geelong, Joe is strongly committed to the Geelong community and actively works towards improving the region’s future and is the current CEO of the Transport Accident Commission (TAC). He has a notable background in commu-nications and community relations, and is a member of the Committee for Geelong’s strategy and policy committee. Joe has previously worked as a Senior Advisor for the Victorian Minister for Police, before becoming the Head of Community Relations for TAC and then CEO in 2015.
Joe was appointed to the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust in 2018.
Ms Uzelac has extensive experience in the Geelong business community in various roles including CEO of Geelong Business Council, Chief Executive of People at work and more recently, Bernadette has been appointed as a member to the Telstra Victorian Regional Advisory Council. Ms Uzelac is the chair of both the Small Business Ministerial Council for the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions and Geelong Tech School Committee.
